Kayaking and River Trail

"We combine 2 of our iconic explorations in a Full Day made for adventurers, alternating the disciplines of touring kayaking and trekking to tour some of the most beautiful landscapes in the vicinity of our Refugio. We begin this adventure by embarking in our kayaks near the Tawa, to approach the mouth of the Bota Piedras River, one of the many tributaries of the Puelo River. It is about 4 Kms paddled by calm waters, surrounded by evergreen forest and with good bird watching possibilities. When the time comes, we will disembark to walk upstream, thus escaping from the territory intervened by man and being able to experience first hand a sample of pristine nature. On the route, we will be able to see some old houses of settlers and muleteers, as well as a privileged view of the Yates Volcano. We will enjoy an outdoor lunch in the Tawa style, recovering our energy and then we will return to the lodge the same way we arrived. A day full of adventures and stories to remember".
