Tagua Falls

This exploration takes us to tour the Tagua Tagua Lake from a unique perspective. We leave from the Refuge, to embark from the same Tawa and paddle across the Tagua Tagua Lake towards Puerto Maldonado. It is a demanding and entertaining crossing, enjoying the magical colors of the lake, the views from the water to the evergreen forest and the surrounding mountains. We will paddle with the objective of reaching the great waterfall of the lake, a waterfall that will leave us breathless for its natural beauty and the environment in which it is located. We will disembark on the shore for a good lunch in the open air, recharge our batteries and then return to the Tawa. Depending on the recommendations of our guide and the motivation of the group, the return will be by paddling or by boat. The return in kayak is an important effort, generally with headwind, recommended for travelers with experience in long days of paddling.
