River Trail

Near the refuge is the "Botapiedras" river, a tributary of the Puelo River and the Victoria Lagoon. We began this adventure by embarking with Cololo to approach the mouth of the Bota Piedras. On this occasion, we will go upstream, thus escaping from the territory intervened by man and thus being able to experience first-hand a sample of pristine nature. On the route, we will be able to see some old houses of settlers and muleteers, as well as a privileged view of the Yates Volcano.
